Also, it s a bit tricky to get the spring loaded back in after you take it apart.

after inserting the OEM internals and transponder, you have to "wind" the spring back in to the key can "flip" out.. You get the picture once you take it apart.

 

Payment sent. I think im going to shave the nissan logo and smooth out the texture and paint it ob since i have some paint left from my wald kit. Think itll look better that way and fit my car

 

Yeah that might take a try or two... I spun mine the wrong way a couple times and the key wouldn't flip open, but it would flip closed nicely! Just dont lose the spring when you open it up folks. Easy as pie.

Yea i still got a lil basecoat left and always plenty of clear.
So a good couple of coats will be good. I might even try to have my sign shop make an infiniti logo to go on top of the symbol on back

 

Honestly I wouldn't paint it until the case is damaged from years of use. It looks good besides the nissan logo. I've seen several people paint their oem keyfob and some came out looking ricey.

 

Well my g is obsidian black so it will just be a glossy black or i could you a flat clear. I do a piece in each and see what i think. me no like ricey
