Barely used unit... Decided to go with the double din - avic z110bt setup and don't need this anymore. Clear plastic is still on the unit it self!

Yes it charges ipods and you can use your steering wheel controls with this unit

I'm in westcovina. Install was very simple. Followed DIY guides on this forum to pull out the headunit and just snapped a few wires in place. Ran it through to my glove box and it worked perfectly
