Yeah Im pretty sure I dont have the stock HIDs... I think the are the halogen or xenon capsule? Is there a website I can enter my VIN and get the exact specs?

 

If your headlights look whiteish, purplish, and warms up to be white, then it's xenon. If your headlights just look dorky yellow, then it's halogen. What year and model is your car? Unless you have the 2003 model, I am pretty sure every g35 came with xenons.

No wait - sorry for confusion.... wouldn't this (your kit for sale) be the correct replacement for me if I wanted to switch to HIDs?

 

If you have halogen lights, then you need this kit. If you already have HID kit, there's no need. I need to know what year and what color you want.
