AutoLoc Door Shaving Kit - Heavy Duty
I have this BRAND NEW AutoLoc door handle shaving kit. I have had it sitting in the box for about 5 years, but as you can see in the pics it has never been messed with, never installed, not even any dust on the boxes.
It is a heavy duty kit (SL35 = 35 LB solenoid), meaning it is meant to open the heaviest doors (like an SUV) so the solenoid shouldn't ever have any issues and was meant for daily use.
There are only supposed to be 3 relays (I double checked on this through the manual). I know for a fact one bolt and washer are missing, so I have also taken that into account. Everything else should be included!!
When I bought this kit it was the baddest, highest end model they made... It was $200. And all parts should be under WARRANTY! I just priced this through a distributor and came out to $250 - only difference being 8-chan remotes rather than 6 I'm offering. (http://www.thehoffmangroup.com/autol...?itemid=svpro3) - This site also offers great details about this specific kit at the bottom, under the pricing.
I'm also including the remote keyless entry system, It's a pretty nice setup - (2) 6-channel remotes. Check the above link for more info on this!
I WAS going to ask $100 for this, BUT I'm giving you $30 off due to missing bolt and washer so...
$70 + shipping.

Check out my iTrader on here and My350Z. I don't sell crap. Everything is in great shape and I tell you like it is. Let me know if you have any questions. These kits are all universal, and since I never tried to install it I'm not sure how it works. AutoLoc is still selling this exact kit, so they must be doing something right!

As far as AutoLoc is concerned these can be for daily use. Again, I don't know much else about them other than what is on the site. The biggest concern I think people have as far as daily driving is if the car battery dies (you have the buttons you can hide in case the remote battery dies or you lose your remote), but in any of these cases you normally install a manual lever somewhere also which isn't anymore difficult.
I'm sure someone here has more info on your question. I saw someone a few weeks ago on this forum talk about installing these (this is what reminded me I had this set) and they said they hooked up somehow to where they could plug a 9V battery up to a wire and it would just just enough to pop the door open once or twice in the event of a dead car battery.

Man...I hate asking noob questions but...
Kinda confused tho. What body work needs to be done for this? And...
When the keyless entry is pushed, does the door just 'pop' open?

The door handle removed and filled with something... preferable metal welded... but doesn't have to be.
Yup, push a button and you can unlock the door, push again, or push another button and the door does "pop" open about 3''... you could even get this to work with the poppers...
