Need help with shipping wheels/tires

Hi guys,
I am selling some auto-x/track wheels & tires and some people are asking for shipping info. Does anyone have experience w/ shipping wheels/tires? How do I wrap/box them and ship them? The wheels/tires are 45 lb each, ~25" diameter and ~10" wide. Thanks in advance.

Here's the link to the wheels/tires. https://g35driver.com/forums/archived-sales/86864-fs-track-autocross-wheels-tires.html

I would find a place that sells packaging / shipping supplies and buy four heavy card board shipping boxes that would accomodate each wheel. That way, the rims should not be damaged during shipping.

The best way I've come up with is to get cardboard cutouts that cover the "good" side of the rim. Then get the heavy clear plastic wrap at a shipping supply store (looks kinda like saran wrap with fiber reinforcement, but about 18" wide and really strong). Then wrap this around and around the wheel/tire combo with the cardboard over the wheel until you've got about 3 layers on the whole thing. then tape it all in place with clear plastic shipping tape. I learned this from a wheel shop that sent me some 18 wheel/tires that arrived in perfect condition. I did the same thing when I sold my 17's, and the buyer says they came through great.
