I'm getting ready to buy the entire rear piece of the cat-back Stillen exhaust with the dual-wall tips. I originally bought the full exhaust with the single-wall slash-cut tips and am not too hot on the look. I'd much rather have the dual-wall tips since they more closely resemble the stock exhaust. Anyway, I'm just throwing a feeler out there to see if anyone would be interested in picking up just this rear piece (mufflers + tips only). You might be able to buy the other parts from Stillen separately. I'll accept $300 + shipping for that rear piece since Stillen sells it for $679. There's about 7,000 miles on it. If no one is interested I'll probably just throw it on eBay but I figured I'd try here first.

How much did you pay for the used exhaust?

 

I paid $700 shipped for the full used cat-back system with the single-wall slash cut tips (with about 7,000 miles on them). After a couple months, I realized I didn't really like the look. So I started looking at my options for fixing the problem. First I thought of buying the dual-wall Stillen tips but I'm a perfectionist (especially about my G ) and would've been bothered if they didn't fit on perfectly. I decided to get a whole new back piece - with the dual-wall tips - and had to pay $725 shipped for it. Luckily, I found an interested buyer and just sold the old rear piece (muffler + tips, single-wall) to him (a 350Z owner) for $300. All in all I spent $1125 for the cat-back system I wanted - $200 less than retail (shipped). Yes the front and mid-sections have about 10,000 miles on them but the only components that anyone ever sees (mufflers/tips) are brand new and shiny. Every time I look at it I "see" a new exhaust system.

Long story short, it worked out pretty well for me.
