FS: Z-tube

Had on my car for about 1.5 years. Engine compartment has always been kept clean so the tube is as new.
Asking CDN$ 70 obo

Z tube

Hello, Can you send me some details on the Ztube...Is it a shock tower tube that comes on the Z ?

I suggest you do a search for "Z-tube" as this is something that has been discussed to death.

But since I'm in a generous mood, having sold mine, I'll give you this much:

It's the stock intake tube from a 350Z, located between the inlet air box and the air plenum. By installing in the G it eliminates the inlet baffles/resonators in the stock G tube. Essentially it is a straight piece of pipe. It improves throttle response, increases the intake noise level and is rumoured to add 5-7 hp (although some will argue). Its a direct fit into the G and needs minimal tools to install.

To clarify, the Z-tube is tentatively "Sold".
If it comes available again, I'll PM those who have expressed an interest.
