What is the point of this post in here? Are you just trying to be a dick.
I'm not expecting to sell it but I still have a right to put it up for sale. You never know who may be looking for one.

bump.
GOT MODS?
Codeflux - honestly man your post didn't make much sense. You say "the more people jump on stillen bandwagon, the less likely you are to sell this... just the reason why i was hesitant to get stillen s/c - "what am i gonna do with my stock hood?!?!?!"..."
You are saying you are more concerned with having a stock hood sitting around vs. having a whole lot of HP in your car. I think most would agree that worrying about what to do with a stock hood is a very small concern.
ttrank - I may have said it before but your sedan is one of, if not the hottest, cleanest looking sedans out here in the West. It simply puts mine to shame. I love how it has that wet look. Hats off man I know that takes alot of time and effort. Must be a fun ride on the open AZ highways eh?
Crazy idea but what's your thought on your black hood on my DP and black sedan? Would that look strange NOT being CF?

Thank you very much!
In my opinion to pull of a black hood you would need to paint part of it to match your car. I didn't even like the CF on my black car until part if it was painted. It just looked too out-of-place. You would also want to paint your roof black like VodkaRocket. If you did the roof and part of the hood it would look very unique.
I painted everything except the cowl on the Stillen hood black. You can't see exactly how the lines go in this picture but it's the only one I have up on Photobucket and I'm at work right now.
As for yours, I would do something along the lines up the side. That would leave most of it black but still look finished and clean. A 100% black hood would look like it was in a wreck and needed painted to most people.

That UR grill is a great new addition for our sedans. I'm seriously thinking about one of those too. So your hood is CF only where it rises up. Interesting. I don't think a two tone black and desert platnium hood would work well. I agree if all black would look like it needed paint. All CF would be different. I'll have to play with my car in photoshop and see what i come up with. Thanks ttrank.
BTW - the demon eyes - cost? Did you do the install yourself?

Yeah you can only see the CF on my hood where the cowl is. The rest is painted to match. It follows the lines of the hood and came out quite nice. I'll take a better picture of it.
The demon eyes were ~$250 for the kit. Yes, i did the install myself. Then I had to take them back out and re-install them when I did the projectors.
