FEELER: Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2 Winter tire setup for sale
Looking to see if anyone is interested in buying my winter tire setup. Specs are 215/60/16 snow tires mounted on steel rims. This package new will run $700+ brand new ($115 per tire plus $60 per wheel) plus mounting & balancing. I used these for two (2) winter seasons (rotated each season) and there is a total about 16K miles on them (8K per season). There is still 2 more seasons left on these tires (at 8K miles per season)....more if you drive less than I do. I went w/ hubcaps that didn't look half bad (better than the steel wheel look) - see attached photo. I can include the hubcaps as I won't be needing them, but I'll admit that two of them are stained with brake dust from this past season. If you like these caps, I can tell you where I ordered them so you can get replacements.
Here is TireRack's review of the Pilot Alipin's (ranked 3rd): http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ilot+Alpin+PA2
If you're wondering why I'm getting rid of them, I now have aftermarket summer wheels, so I'll be purchasing winter tires for my OEM rims.
$250 OBO - prefer local pick-up only or I'll meet you somewhere (CT, MA or NH) I can post picts if anyone is interested.
