Hi..

I am new to this forum and new to infiniti, this is my first g35 and definitely not my last..these cars are amazing!

Anyway..my only mod right now is an ipod kit..I went with the Media Gateway from that I got from one of my vendors..it is not supposed to work with my car..but it does!!!!

I am going to take pictures today and get them up..

I used the removal instructions i found on g35ipod dot com.

My stereo is the BOSE 6CD with cassette and it has a SAT button..looks like it came with XM but I am not a subscriber so it uses the XM input...

It displays text information on the screen..the only annoying thing I found so far is that XM channel information displays every 5 times or something..bu seriously I can deal with that...

The browsing is amazing..

you can pretty much search your ipod from the controls..it takes a few days of driving with it to get the hang of navigating it with the controls..

steering wheel controls work..but there seems to be a small delay when advancing tracks..

you can set it up to be an aux input only..meaning you do all the control from the ipod and no text..but you dont have to use the radio controls to get around the ipod..i personally think this kit works great with the radio controls..unlike a lot of others..

All I want to know is the color coordination on witch stock manufacturer radio main power plugin go I can't find a diagram that pin points what wire goes in what hole in plug in clip

 

i have a *** import 350gt without sat radio and was wondering if there is an adaptor which works on this version because i havent been able to find anything on this variation of the car

I have a 2003 g35 with SAT button 6cd in dash. Will anyone work even tho I get a "cd err 0"
meaning I can't play cds
