Help please !!
Hey I just ordered a JL Audio 1000/1 amp, 2 x 10w6v2 Subs and a zenclosure for my coupe. There shouldnt be any problem with that setup working with the stock bose system i hope? Just triple checking.. Also, has anyone had any experience with the JL bass control ****? I ordered one of those too but im starting to wonder where to put it, and how it is wired to go to the front of the car. Thanks for the help/info!

The Z enclosure doesn't have enough air space for those two subs does it? Wow 2 10w6s and a 1000/1 amp. I guess you are planning on turning your G into a box of rattles huh? Better buy a ton of dynamat!

Hmmmmmm .45 cubic feet makes that much of a difference!? Damn..... im taking it to a stereo installation place that specializes only in stereos I wonder if they can do anything about it. I read that for boxes that are too small they can be stuffed to compromise for being too small, anyone know about this?

No one knows anything about stuffing the box with something if its too small?
If he mounted the speaker facing into the box. Do you guys think that will help him out? It's too late for him to return it but if he fires the sub into the box instead on mounting it the normal way i think he just free up some more space because the speaker is not in the box...What do you guys think?

ooo thank you for your suggestion! Hmm I dont really know what an enclosure does.... but wouldnt that be opposite of what the enclosure is supposed to do? Cuz then the speaker would be firing into a sealed box ? I duno much about audio so maybe it would work? I hope so.. lol

Well you can always modify the box. I would recommend playing around with it. The $150 loss on the box is nothing compared to what you spent on your amp and subs. I'd get a proper enclosure, or pay to have that properly modified. Otherwise you spent a lot on stuff that won't hit.
If you're patient, you could wait for 4080 to comlete his 4080 box for the passenger side. You could sell your ZEnclosure box in the Marketplace and buy a drivers side and passenger side 4080 box. I know this will be more money but it will look pretty sweet. I have a JL 500/1 w/ the W6 in the 4080 box and it sounds fantastic. People are amazed when I open my trunk and they see that tiny box and a solitary 10" sub.
As for completion date for the passenger 4080 box, I'm not sure when he'll be ready. Last time he posted, it was late April and he said he was "almost" complete and ready to sell.
