What do you have your backlighting set to?

Mine was set to 2 seconds (i think the default) and when connected to the PA11 it was turning off and on even in the middle of the song.

I called their tech support line and they said this is normal -- when an external device accesses the ipod it triggers the light to come on and the PA11 is chatting with the ipod constantly (or frequently).

I have mine turned off at the moment, but wondering if any one else has found a workaround or if they have found this annoying as well.

And I just went out with the car off and it's not doing it now.. hrmm

I have an Ipod Video 60gig in direct mode. I decided to stash the PA11 under the passenger seat so I can get to the aux ins/dip switches easily..
