Stock Nav Relocation

Hey guys, I need some help with the possibility of relocating the stock nav unit. I have searched it a bit and found a couple threads saying there are about 40 wires I would have to extend. Just curious if there is an aftermarket harness/extender and if anyone has done this? thanks.

there are no aftermarket harnesses. No one has done it because everyone thinks extending those 40 wires and considerable distance will cause too much noise, too much resistance, too low of voltage (take your pick) in the wires and the unit will not function.

you think moving it like 4 ft would be just as bad as if I moved it to the trunk?
