Thanks!! Off to research the cost of new parts.

Did you just run a + and - to connect to the power wires of the 05 harness?

alright so took off my 03 wheel and looked on the steering wheel clock and it has the extra pins on the female connector for the lights. Ill post pictures up when i am done. The good news is that all my controls work. The only thing different is the cruise on/off button is switch with the cancel button. This weekend i going to wire it up.

Question, i remember there was post up on DIY removal of the steering wheel clock? I have been trying to find it all day!! I havn't had any luck so if anyone knows what i talking about please post that up i want to see the wiring in the steering wheel clock.

Steering wheel clock?

I wondered how to remove the airbag first.

Please take pics and let us know how to do the swap. It's a lot of money to pay for lighted buttons, but I don't care.

OK someone please answer these simple questions:

Does an 05 steering wheel fit an 04?
Will an 04 airbag fit in an 05 steering wheel?
Are the controls plug and play?
Does the steering wheel control light up when it is plug in?
If there is any electrical modifications whatsoever?

TIA!!!!!

Hey Tia

The 05 steering wheel fits on the 03-04
The 04-03 airbag is the same as the 05 (direct swap)
The controls plugs right in to the steering wheel clock

All controls work the same!!!

On the female connector (on the steering wheel clock ) has the two extra pins that you can connect to power source for light. the only thing is you have to remove the steering wheel clock to follow the wires.

Ill have pictures up once i hook up the wires

Very good replacement rather then paying some one to rewrap your steering wheel for 200. I think it brings a better upgrade look to your 03-04 G. I did this because my 03 wheel was cracking and the 05 wheel was real cheap

I just got a used 06 steering wheel off Ebay and am going to attempt to install it soon. I want it for the lighted switches. I'll post my results as soon as I can. I'm also taking pictures as I go along. We'll see if they are helpful.

Guages

Man, You gotta tell me how you got those gauges to look like that. If there's one thing I could slap those engineers for, it wouldbe for those blanned amber gauges. I hate them with a passion. Please PM me and let me know how I can get this done. Thanks
