JL Audio Stealth Enclosure

Has anyone bought/used/or heard this product? It's a 10" sub mounted beneath the trunk mat in the left hand corner?

Thanks.

It is quite expensive and comes with JL's entry level sub. I'd be interested if I could buy it without the sub.

you can't go wrong with 4080 box. I just hooked it up with a jl 10w6 and jl 500/1 amp and and it hit tight. Plus I still have my whole trunk for anything else.

I was really suprised that JL didn't come up with something like the 4080 box. I guess they wanted to make one that didn't affect trunk space at all, but I think they compromised the sub too much on this vehicle.

Yeah. Go with the 4080 box. It has enough space for most 10" subs, built sturdy, and looks factory.

It is. he sells the box via paypal. do a search and you will find tons of posts from satisfied customers, including myself. it's a molded sub enclosure that fits on the side of the trunk. he makes one for the driver side and passenger side. they can only hold 10 inch subs and i'm sure he can give you his opinion of which subs work best. i have the jl 10w6v2 and it knocks. best of all 4080 carpets the enclosure and it looks factory with the supplied grill in place.

I think the JL stealthbox is a joke. Not enough air volume and its paired with JL's entry level sub which blows.

Good for ppl wanting more than stock, but never heard of a w7.
