Focal Utopia Install

Completed installing the Focal Utopia 165W component set in the front doors. Neither driver, midbass or tweeter will install without modification. Required removal of a small piece of metal from the door, the factory cutout is elliptical. Making a template will best indicate where to modify.
The TN 51 tweeter fits well in the stock location. I removed the outer mounting post with a dremel tool and used silicone to secure the tweeter.
Sounds great ! Now has me anxious to get the DIN dash kit so i can install my head unit and amps.

Re: Focal Utopia Install

Using the factory headunit and amp just as a temporary install. Not really impressed....my din dashkit shipped 10/30. Will then add midrange drivers in kickpanels, powering each driver with a 75W Xtant x series. 604x/603x/1000x for sub. will be using Premier P9 headunit and processor.
I'll post pics. of install when complete.
