Want to route Navi controller to Steering Wheel

Anyone have any theories on whether the controller to the Navigation unit (the little joystick thing) can be re-routed to the cruise control on the steering wheel? Not the actual joystick itself, I want to use the levers and buttons to advance or pivot on the map and navigate menus. I heard someone was trying to move the manual mode shifter on ATs to the cruise control, uh, controls, so I figure this is possible too. I hate reaching over to the passenger's side of the car to use the Navi. It's not very safe either. And I have never once used cruise control.

Re: Want to route Navi controller to Steering Wheel

well i dont think it would be any safer to be using the crusie control bottun u will still have to look at the screen. I dont think it will work becuase the joy stick moves left right as well as up down. if there is a way it will be super complicated and most likly involve a lot of programing. Basicaly it wont be a plug and play job it will be very invalved. I dont think it will be worth. sorry man
