Radio Replacement Due To CD-R's Not Ejecting

Hey...new here, but I have been checking out the forum for awhile...but I digress.
I have had my G for about 5 months. I have placed numerous CD-R's in the changer. All have been able to eject without problems except for non-screened CD-R's. I figured this out when I placed another non-screened CD-R in another slot (from the same company, not knowing). Therefore, I have two slots that will not eject. I brought this issue to my dealer and they advised that this occurs quite often (about twice a week). However, I have not seen this problem posted. I tried to search the forums, but no matches were found.
The dealer ordered a new radio and will replace it Saturday at no charge.
Just wondering if anyone has had this issue or heard of the same problem.
Thanks!

Is this with every audio system or just some? And what type of CD's are you talking about?

Sorry. I am referring to the Bose system that comes with the premium package upgrade. The dealer will replace the Bose radio. As for the non-screened CD-R's, they were a bulk/spindle purchase and were generic.

yes, its a known thing...don't know why it didn't come up on a search. It happens quite a bit, some people have had the bose unit replaced multiple times.

I had my changer replaced because it would not play past track 11 on some of my cd's. Dealer did'nt even test it, just replaced it.

Oh .. Is this happening on the 04's then? Cuz I heard about it on the 03 .. But the 04 system is new and faster .. so I hope the problem has been fixed?

What are non-screened CD's anyway?

Eric...Yeah...hopefully, they will replace the Bose changer with a the newer/quicker one. They did have to order it and it took about a month to get in.

Dragon...Non-screened CD's do not have any print on the top side. They are glossy, no paint/branding. Not sure how else to explain it. I hope that helps.

I don't know if it is any faster. They did'nt wait a month for it either. They had it replaced in 2 days. Said they had a lot of problems with the changers so maybe they ordered a bunch to have on hand.

Someone on freshalloy said that they called Infiniti and they said that 03 and 03.5 models whose changers need replacing will not get the newer, faster model because it is incompatible with the older car.

The compatability thing can't be that big, everything is practically the same..... I would really like one of the new ones, and i am sure that with a few washington's or his good friend lincoln some dealer somewhere could hook it up!

Does the display say "CD ERR F0"? Yes, it has to be replaced by the dealership.

As for the '04 radio in an '03/'03.5 -- they won't do it. I don't know about the compatibility thing, but my service advisor says they are only allowed to order the '03 radios for the '03 cars.
