bose headunit in a non-bose?

I have a 03 G35 sedan with the non bose headunit. It died on me. Someone is selling a Bose unit. Can I just swap out the non bose for the bose unit?

From what I understand, the bose unit uses a seperate amplifier to power the speakers, whereas the nonbose is powered within the head unit itself. You would have to buy the amplifier aswell. Then you can start wiring the amplifier and the head unit, and its guna take a lot of work. Its possible, but I dont know if its worth it for a Blose. Might of as well spend a few hundred bucks and wire up a nice aftermarket system. Just my two pennies.

Right, there is no amp in the Bose deck so you would have to wire an amp up anyways. I agree, spend some extra cash and go aftermarket, the Blose system Blose.
