For the Coupe?

Hey Pete, I love the wiring harness. Can I use in a 05 Coupe? What are the wiring schematics? Any other problems that you have ran into?

I know the 04+ sedans should be the same. The coupes should be the same, not sure tho. I downloaded the service manual from Infiniti pubs. I have the pinouts in an excel sheet. PM me your email and I can send either the FSM or xls file with the pinouts and you can see if it matches.

I wanted to bring this back up for some of the newer people. Why isn't this stickied??

I do have one question: Has anyone with a '04 sedan bose used this connector? I haven't torn the rear deck apart, but the wiring schematic has me a little concerned. It shows the amp harness to have 26 pins (13x2), when the harness black sheep uses only has 24 (12x2). It kind of screws up how I have the pinouts set up.

When I had my 24 hour subscription to get service the manual, it looked like the plug was the same for 04+, perhaps on the '04 there is a pair of unused pins on one side of the connector.

I did have some trouble with the left side fading out, then turning up the volume caused it to pop back on. I fixed this by changing the input from 2.5 volts to 2.0 on my amp. This harness makes it really easy to remove the amp if needed, I had to get my car inspected (NC emissions) this week at the dealer. (dealer is paying for it) Took me 10 minutes to remove the clips holding the shelf cover, unplug my harness, plug the factory amp in and remove mine.

Blacksheep, would it be possible for you to post or PM me the wiring diagram you used for your harness? Maybe number 1-24 and what it is used for (FL IN+, etc)? I would really appreciate it, because the service manual isn't matching the harness for some reason, and I can't figure out what goes where. Thanks.

Man sorry too let you guys down. Been busy with work and a new kid on the way.

Anyways here is the pinouts:

There are 2 connectors in the SM one called B123 and one B122, the B123 is for the Sub the other larger 122 is for the main amp 26/24 pin

Here is the pinouts

B123

pwr woofer out - Empty Empty
Pins: 1 2 3 4
Pins: 17 18 19 20
gnd woofer out + Empty Empty

B122
E E E E LR+ LR- RR+ RR- LF+ LF- RF+ RF-
5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16
21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 30
E E RR- RR+ LR- LR+ RF- RF+ LF- LF+ Amp E


E= Empty
LR= Left Rear
RR= Right Rear
LF=Left Front
RF=Right Front

Hope this makes sense to you guys, you will have to loom at the empty slots on the connector to the amp to decypher the above pinouts. Just look for the empty slots.

Please sticky this thread. I was about to cut into my factory harness until I came across this. This is good info!

I've got a question. Whats the difference in sound coming for REAR left/right compared to FRONT left/right? I was only going to tap into the FRONT left/right and send that to my amp which will send to all four speakers. Will it sound better if I tap into all four? OR is just the front channels fine? Thanks.

If you want fader control, use both front and rear channels.
