My DD install

It was 100 degrees in New York yesterday, the perfect weather to start a DD install.

My blose system hasn't worked well for at least 5 months now; it would play a song and change cd's midway through the song. I had it up to there and I wasn't gonna take it anymore. Thanks to ejpolitza offering his DD kit, I went into action yesterday at 7pm.

By 9:30 I had my DD kit in with a Pioneer DEH-P6700MP installed (borrowed from my brother in law). I'm gonna be looking around for an Avic D2 or something once I scrounge up the cash in a month or two, so if anyone knows a dealer with a really low price, let me know please.

Thanks!

Damn I hope you were in a garage.. 100 degrees outside means.. it was prob like 120 degrees inside the car!

Nope...man on fire. I was outside the entire time. The wife kept a steady stream of gatorade coming, which helped a lot.

I figure now that I got the annoying stuff out of the way (getting blose system out, installing AC controls) I can do this job in a little over an hour.
