Anyone got the 03-04 finisher and/or AC controller they are looking to get rid of?

 

Hey. Just so you know, Grubbs has a bunch of them in stock right now. Mine is scheduled to come tomorrow via UPS. I know that other people have reported that Grubbs has been out of stock recently, but they told me they have a couple hundred right now.

 

Yeah, I'm cheap I'm trying to get them cheaper, but I guess I'll just make the plunge.

couple of hundred my a$$. I just ordered one yesterday and they 03-04 finisher is on backorder..... pissed...

 

HOLY ____!! Wow. I just ordered mine a week ago, and the guy was like, OH YEAH, we have a bunch in stock. And I asked him how many that meant and he said a couple hundred. I just got mine the other day. Looks good. Sorry man...

 

Yeah, well, what can you do. I emailed them asking how long the backorder is... no reply yet. I should have known not to order from them after the complaints I've read about on here.

So I call Grubbs, ask for the parts department and get Alan, who was the guy who emailed me to tell me that my 03-04 finisher was backordered. I'm like, awesome, just the guy I need to talk to. He tells me they have the AC board and the bracket, but not the finisher. He also says he has NO idea when the finisher will be coming in. He tells me he can go ahead and ship the AC controller if I'd like. I told him to cancel the order, and thankfully he was more than accomidating to this (that's about the only compliment I can give Grubbs through this whole situation). Why did I cancel the order?

Alright so get this. Yoshi gets back to me within 3 hours of emailing him this morning. Tells me it'll take about 2 weeks for me to get the part, and after doing some google currency translation (his quote was in yen), I'm going to end up paying $34 less! NICE.

I wish I didn't have to wait 2 weeks, but at least this is a known quantity, and this guy seems like the real deal with professionalism.

 

he is the real deal. i was a non-believer until i finally order the stuff from yoshi. he will email you when he gets the parts and then email you again with the tracking info when it ships.
