RCA Cable Length in Sedan

OK guys. Here goes my lamo post of the year. I am about to upgrade to a double DIN in my sedan, and I simply want to know what length RCA's you guys are using. I was thinking 17 or 20ft. But I don't want to overkill. My amps are in the spare tire well, and I will be running down the center console to the trunk. It wouldn't be too hard to figure out myself, but hey...that's what forums are for! Thanks in advance.

12 ft should be good, obviously depends on where specifically you mount your amp and where the RCA inputs are located.

since your power wire will prolly go down the passenger door, the RCAs will run the other side. i ran my rca down the center console, to the rear footwell, than over to the driver side than to the back (didn't want the rear seats to pinch).

i have a coupe, but it can't be that much different. 12 ft is good. 17 ft will give you flexibility on location of amp and possible future upgrades. 20 ft is overkill

Yeah. That is what I intend to do. My power wire is down the passengers side. Thanks for the info. Any sedan owners care to respond?
