New 12" Sub Box Design...Coming Soon

I have had many requests for a box that will hold 1-12" or the JL10w7. I finally found the time to work on this design. Here's what I came up with....(1.20 cu ft) We will have these available soon.

I want to say thanks to Rich V. of the G35 Club of Florida for lending us his G35......sorry about all the saw dust.

Thanks mike

Nice design but no trunk space is left and no way of folding down seats anymore....

Maybe try something for the side of the trunk, but for a 12"

Does that 1.2 cu ft. allow for the displacement of the speaker as well? the side walls look small. Otherwise, nice idea.

The 1.20 cu. ft is the box total. This does not allow for speaker displacement.

We actually have a 2-12" for the Sedan. Its tight on airspace for 2-12's but there are some out there that will work with its .75 per side/sub. Here is a pic of one I just shipped out.

thanks mike

Do you have any other views of the box, specifically mounted in the trunk?

Thanks,

Bill

Here's a picture of the same box (G35 Sedan) with holes cut for 2-10's. I didn't have a 2-12" box made at the time I took the pictures.

thanks mike

How much is that 2x 10 for the sedan? Also, how is the sound? That looks sealed too, just wondering how well the bass travels in that kind of trunk, and a sealed box. I'm very used to ported/Bandpass boxes and having being able to put the back sets down (can't do that now) for more bump i the car.

I'm personally looking for very "tight" bass, not to boomy, and good hitting. I'd be changing out the Bose speakers for some MB Quarts, and 2 Amps (1 4ch 80x4 RMS (or abouts) and for the bass at least a 300watt RMS (4ohm and 2ohm stable). Just hoping I don't need more power to push thru the car for bass.
Thanks for the info i advance.

Is the box that holds 1-12" subwoofer available for sale? will a JL audio 12W7 fit in this box?
