High level input question

Ive been doing car stereos for a while now. however, ive always used a aftermarket deck, so ive always used RCA's for signal. now im thinking about a EQ that has high level inputs, a sub out and 2 full range out. im assuming that i can take the leads for one set of speakers, splice them onto the high level input harness and be able to provide signal for a 3 amp setup (if i choose)

now, i guess my question is this.. will using the signal for just one set of speakers weaken the output signal that the amps will see? also, if you can tell me any pros/cons, that would be usefull too!

thanks guys, Gunner
