As I was using the stock Clarion/"Bose" HU, I did not have a separate sub control to begin with, so this isn't much of a loss for me. I'm also running only my front DLS UP6 comps, so fade control isn't necessary.
That being said, I'll probably use one of the conductors of the second pair of RCAs for the independant subwoofer preamp on the 6800... but it'll be more for the sake of having it available then wanting to use it.
