What Kind of Subs...

make people outside the car feel it in their chests? I'm looking for a very strong setup with big base. If people could recommend equipment I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thank you

You could probably fit 4-5 Jl w7s, a few IDMAX 12s, a pair of Elemental Designs 19kv.2s, as well as a host of other options. Since nothing was mentioned about how much space you are willing to give up, these will slam the sh*t out of anyone within 50ft. Without knowing more info its impossible to recommend a good setup. What I DO recommend is that you sit down and really do some research. Decide what you really want from the subs, not just "very strong base"<--(work on your spelling)
Decide:
-What is your budget(including subs, amps, wiring, upgraded alt etc.)
-How much room are you willing to give up
-How dumb you really want to look

lude, where would you fit two 18" woofers in the g? the enclosure volume would have to take up the entire trunk and more (into the back seat) wouldnt it? anyone got pics of a G with 18s? that i've got to see.

Here is my trunk on my 2005 G35 coupe to give you an idea of what one JL W7 with proper box (Designed by JL for the W7) would do to your trunk space.

I don't think its ever been done, just trying to prove a point when people ask for such vague suggestions. I mean you could rip out the passenger and rear seats, fiberglass a giant box that encloses the trunk, back seat and passenger seat area and fit the 19s, but thats a little extreme. I think I've been on the ED forums too long though because some of those guys do some really crazy stuff, like 32 EU-700s in a SUV.

Put this in and i guarantee the glass will crack.!!!
That is if the box is tuned to at least 28htz.!!
Good luck.!!!

wut ever happen to solar baric's l7's? those things hit like monsters... but make sure you have powerful amps and high capacity capacitors. oh and good wiring. ppo dont realize how much sound quality can be lossed with a cheap wiring kit.

Thanks for the responses guys. Sorry for being so vague but I'm new to the whole car audio/modding thing. I think I'm going to just stick to the basic setups and not try anything so extreme.

Given its small trunk, it will be unlikely event with G35 coupe, unless you take back seat out and make some decent size enclosure. If its SPL you after? besides those have been mentioned already, look at Mmats JUGGERNAUT series, Cerwin Vega Strokers, Memphis 15-M3MOJO/15-LVS, if money and hearing loss isnt an issue here? give MTX's JackHammer a try.
