I have dual climate control and was thinking about doing a double din, but my stock climate control has the silver/tan buttons and it looks like the ac controller for the double din is black. I know you can transfer the button but what do I do since it's a different color?

 

you can just undo the backing by removing the screws and pop them off from the inside out

 

If the button is a different color, it will stay a different color. I think the double dins only come in the black button color.

 

So G35rcr, you are saying I could just swap all of my grey buttons for all of the black ones?

i know this is super old thread but i plan on doing a dd conversion soon. my interior is in willow and those buttons are black is there a way to change them out.

You can change over the willow buttons in place of the black ones. You're going to need to do that to the dual climate button anyway, if you have dual climate. It takes just a little time with a small, flat screwdriver.
