Re: 6.5 components
i have the 165w and it love the sound. the only problem is if you have a wrong amp, the tweeter is too detail. I listen to the dynaudio as well too. They sound very smooth especially the high. What really got me was the utopia. The mid was incredible.
I original have the phoenix gold ti 500.4 driving the two utopias 165w and 136 for the rear. What i didn't like was the tweeter was a bit bright. Then the amp went south on me, i bought an Arc Audio and it was much softer on the high than the phoenix gold. The arc audio really smooth out the high yet still give me the same mids that i hear the first time.
Overall, if you are going to get the utopia, i recommend spend some extra cash getting arc audio amp. Also Zapco come highly recommend.
As for other speaker to audition, i think you should give yourself a chance to listen to diamond audio. They are great speaker for the price you are looking for. It might be even lower on ebay.

Re: 6.5 components
check out some Rainbow components, for about $300 you can get your hands on the sound line components, i had the dreamline set in my old car and loved them, very smooth tweeter and good mid-bass...i can't even start to imagine how much better the soundline is...go here

Re: 6.5 components
Try JL Audio XR series. Best advice is to go to quality stereo shops and audition the speakers you are considering. You are the ultimate judge of what sounds good in your G.

I got MB Quart PSD 216's off Ebay for around $250 shipped. I don't really have anything to compare them too, but they sound really good to me.

Re: 6.5 components
well, as for MB Quarts, I would probably consider the Q series speakers. The old ones are going for about 300 or maybe less right now. I have heard that the highs are a bit too bright however...and I hate that in a speaker setup. hurts the ears.

Re: 6.5 components
go to www.thezeb.com and check out CDT Audio. They make incredible stuff and everything you buy there has a factory warranty. Quarts are great, loved my old QSD's, but CDT, Rainbow, and Morel are all a bit better in terms of clean, clear sound reproduction...ofcourse that is my opinion so you have to hear a set to like them...but i would take a chance on CDT comps since i doubt you will be dissapointed.

Re: 6.5 components
I'm using the 165 W's in my coupe.
I'm not sure what your intenton would be for the W3's since there is relitively no place for the midrange. Oops, just looked you have the sedan, maybe there is a place for a 3 way component set. Anyway..
Definately go 3 way if possible, I'll be putting a set of 6W audiom mids in kickpanels, i have the 6W2 and TN 51's already installed. (presantly playing the 6W2's as mid-bass/midrange.
Use an amp/headunit/or processor that will allow for selective crossover and slope or you'll never get all thats available from the Utopias. Beg, borrow or pay to tune the install with an RTA, don't trust your ears! Hopefully you'll also have time alignment available from your processor or head unit. This will be imperative for proper staging. Not trying to pile on or anything but the expense of the Utopias isn't worth it unless your willing to do all the above. But if you do NOTHING will compare to them.
