My 05 Coupe, non-bose disc changer randomly has problems playing certain mp3s for slots 5 and 6. No error codes appear, the player just sits there at the song.

One moment it won't play song A in slots 5 or 6, but song A plays in all other slots. And then the next moment song A will play fine in slot 5 and 6. The only constency is that slots 5 and 6 are the slots having periodic playback issues.

I found one post on this problem, but it didnt say much. Has anyone had this problem? Do you think infiniti will replace the unit?

 

yeah get it replaced. i've had mine swapped because the screen would freeze up. now the refurbished one plays some mp3's with "glitches". when i rewind it to hear the glitch again, it plays it fine.
