-Dash

-A/C controller

-Metra Nissan Antenna Adapter to connect the factor antenna http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Metra...oductDetail.do

-Scosche NN03B wiring harness http://www.cardomain.com/sku/SCONN03B

-Scosche SLC4 to convert your speaker out so that you can connect to the Bose. I don't think it is necessary. However, it really filters out a lot of the background noise.

-SWI-X to retain your steering wheel interface. Not sure if it works with Clarion. I use the SWI-PS for my Pioneer.

I think you should be good to go.

thanks Firefox...

i'm getting the Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD, the double din 6disc indash dvd/mp3/cd unit...

seems like i'll spend more money on parts to make this work than on the actual deck!! LOL

thanks for the info again~

I'm really glad to know that I can retain my steering controls! On a scale of 1-10, how much better would the sound get with the SLC4? Would I have less quality than stock without it? I guess an extra $50 is worth it in a $2000 HU system eh?

10 for sure, so I say get it. It will be worth the extra trouble. If you don't, there is this hissy background noise, at least with the AVIC-D1 that was the case. I think you may even be able to find it at Walmart. Try it out, if you don't like it you can always take it back. But once you install it you will know what I mean by the hissing.

I just had my pioneer z1 installed today and bought the dash kit with ac and bracket. I also got the bluetooth & ipod adapt.

Everything else my shop did. Nothing to buy extra. I did get a 4 ch. fosgate
and all new internals though.

Good luck, sound should be fine as long as the installer know whats up.

Yup, sounds exactly like that. Just make sure you set the volume control to maximum on the SLC4 so that you get the maximum signal transfer (less the noise)

The aftermarket amp is key. You can run the line out (much better signal to noise ratio) from the head unit directly to the amp. But the stock Bose amp seems to work better with that extra line output converter.
