FOLLOW UP: I just got my car back from getting it fixed, and looked at my nav disc (in the post above i was assuming i had the old version, even though i've only had the car 3 weeks, figuring the dealership was just being stingy) but anyway i take the disc out and it says it's version 7.1.... not 7.2, or 6.4 or whatever the old one is..... but it's not from that zenrin company that people above were referring to..... its from Navteq

is the zenrin disc an "aftermarket disc" or what's the deal with this?

thanks

since i felt like i had to investigate whether i really got gyped, i looked around and found this: http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INT...acturerDetails

so it looks like navteq maybe makes the OEM disc, but they are too lazy to continue updating it.

can some other people go check their 06 nav disc and see if it is a teal one from Navteq?

ill take a picture of mine later and post it

Do you have to input your address book & custom settings again when you swap dvds?

Now all we need is an "update" to allow addresses to be entered WHILE DRIVING.

*if you know, PM me*
