I was interested in purchasing the CDT Audio HD-62 6 1/2" Component System after looking at a few threads. I went to ebay and it has feature to check if speaker will fit in your model/make of car. It said this model does not fit. My question is will this speaker fit w/out any additional fabrication or adapter on a non-bose 04 Coupe?

more than likely you will need a spacer, if you are lazy you can punch out your old speaker and use that as a spacer or just go buy some from a stereo shop for 20 a pair

You'll need an MDF spacer ring (0.75" IIRC). I'm running a set of CDT HD-62 components in the front doors of my '06 coupe.

I would definately get a proper spacer put in there, you definately want to seal those beasts up to the door really tight.

Thanks for the replies guys, I guess I'll buy the spacers. Also does anyone know what size the rear speakers are. I don't have speakers behind the seats, they are on the side I think.
