Driver side speaker out while playing CDs..
I know this is an old thread, but I am also having this problem on my '04 coupe. I just bought the car and I have 63k so I am out of warranty. Did anyone get theirs fixed out-of-pocket and can give me a price? Thanks
hey all.. i posted this on 6MT.net as well... i just picked up my ride last tuesday and having the driver side cut out as well. the tapping/banging issue on the radio worked only the first day but since then it's a complete loss. The radio works perfect for all sides but when it comes to CDs, forget it. I already went to my dealership and they are ordering me a new unit right now and will let me know when it arrives so i can bring my car back to them. Seems like it's a growing issue for 04's.
Unfortunately I don't know the price out of pocket it would cost to have this replaced. You can try going to the dealer and asking them on goodwill to have this replaced since this is an extremely common issue on 03-04 coupes!

2004 67000km's. Intermittent problem started about 1 month ago. Called Infinity dealership here in Calgary. 299$ for "exchange" unit +25$ freight + 187$ labour= you the math...car originally bought in june 2003 so off the waranty which is 4years/80 000kms...not impressed with this supposedly high end radio which is in fact a factory Clarion radio with a Bose "sound system" (trademark that GM was the first to put in their vehicle as a "add-on" to their Delco radios. Anyways, I have an appointment booked for next tuesday...
