I just installed the pac aai-nis2, avelectronics, and ps2 (slim) in my g35 sedan. I Have a question that I need help with...for those that have the same setup, have you had issues with the volume where, while driving, I need to turn up the volume to 25 just to clearly hear the movies that I play on the ps2. Does anyone else have this issue? How did you resolve it? Is my pac unit bad? Is my avelectronics unit bad?

Also, I hooked up my ipod to the pac unit and had the same volume issue but I bought the belkin car kit and that has a built in amplifier. So that resolved the volume issue with my ipod.

I had the same setup but never had a problem. Check your PS2 setup. Press "select" and go into the menu for the ps2 for audio. There's a volume setting there.

There's also a volume control on the AV box itself using the remote.

 

Thanks meatshackle...regarding the ps2, what screen are you on when you press "select" and go into the menu for the ps2 for audio? I am usable to find the volume setting...

Also on the AV box, the included instructions did not say anything about volume control. On the remote there are only buttons labeled 1-9, which one adjusts the volume?

If you press select while a movie is playing the setup screen comes up.

1-9? Hmm...must be a newer model box and remote. I have the first version and it has volume control.
