Factory iPod Integration Successful...

Not sure if this is new news or not. Just got done hooking up the Nissan Factory iPod integration kit on my ’05 Coupe. The unit works flawlessly, ALL functions work, at first it's a bit hard to determine what buttons control what, but after that it's a breeze. When it is hooked up it displays as an XM channel, but then gives all song info through the head unit (artist name, song name, etc.). I have Sirius installed so when engaged all it does is override the Sirius signal, when disengaged it returns to the Sirius signal. If you guys are interested I have them as kits (SAT - $209.99 & NO-SAT - $184.98). I'll have custom install instructions by next week including button operation maps specifically for the G & FX. Here are some pics:

It will work with ALL G's that are Sat ready, if you're not pre-wired it will still work with a added harness (B8377-5W900 - $56.25).

Optional
So this kit allows you to have both SAT and IPOD???? NOT either/or like the AAI-NIS2 module??? It simply overrides the SAT signal while the iPod is plugged into it's jack?

Correct, plus it allows you to control the iPod from your steering wheel controls and face plate controls. It also shows the song, artist, & library data on your head unit...

It took my Tech about 2.5 hours, he did a really professional job though, plus he was flying blind the whole time.
