Need some help!!!

Gentlemen,
I have a budget of $700.00 to upgrade the standard sound system that comes with the coupe. I am not too knowledgeable in the AUDIO department and would like some recommendations form you folks of what to buy while staying with in my budget.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Need some help!!!

for that you could get some

These are good speakers for the price, GOOD SOUND
MB quart RCE216 front (6.5" 2-way) $160
MB quart DKE116 rear (6.5" coax) $85
MB quart DKE169 rear deck (6"x9") $90

I don't know what to recommend for amps, i only like the JL amps right now, but they are more money!

You could drop the 6x9's and put a JL 300/4 amp in there for $385 or a 450/4 for $490 ands then some JL mono amp, and sub in the trunk...?

Go by some audio shops, and ask for the options, they are usually good at trying to get you a good system, but after they price it, go and find the prices online to make sure they aren't ripping you off!

Peace
-Eric

Re: Need some help!!!

well...you can break it down---200 for front 150 for rear(no rear sides) 200 for 4 channel amp plus 150 for labor and parts, now, as for which brands to go with, its gonna be up to you cause everyone's taste are different...lets start with the amp cause they have lil sonic difference between them( the 200 dollar ones), alpine's MPR-m240(40x4); crossfire's VR354(35x4);crunch's pwrzone80.4(80x4);hollywood dig's HV-200.4(90X4);kenwood's kac-8401(60x4);lighting audio's B2.300.4(50x4);pioneer GM-x374(50x4) sony xm-460(60x4); ultimate TA4320 (50x4), and my personel fav...the rockford fosgate 301x(40x4); just few brands are around 200 and you might heard of. there are plenty of full range and some components speakers for front and rear under your budget, just need to go out and listen to them....s.w.
