HELP : Avic-d1 stuck won't open

great... I haven't even opened the avic-d1 more than 10 times and after a years usage it won't open anymore.
My CD is stuck inside , everything is working fine but it just won't open so I can't change songs! I have a CD with only 8 tracks in it and I'm stuck with it forever

damn, that suck cloud. Do you know how to pull the deck out of the console? Maybe their is a reset button on the back? If not, I'm sure someone close by can fix it, helps to be in Silicon Valley.

the reset button is actually on the front... there's a really tiny black circular button right underneath the "SRC" button on the left side. you'll need a needle or other sharp object to press it

dunno if resetting will help or not, but good luck!

It opened once today and didn't work again. If it's a loose wire, which wire would it be?

If it is the motor then send it back. It could also be the ribbon. My Alpine used to sometimes get like that and have a mind of it's own.
