OK...i did plenty of searches and it seems no one has tried is it possible to install a 2004 bose HU(w/sat button) into a 2003...i caught the cd error for the second time and im out of warranty. Also the PA11 NIS can i use this on a HU that is not sat ready. And will it work even with the cd error?? Appreciate any help.

you would also need the bose amps and speakers. just go aftermarket. it's prewired for bose tho, so it could be done. Money's best spent on aftermarket IMO. Stock deck sucks don't it. Mine busted twice too. I'm still in warranty but decided to go aftermarket.

 

not ready to make that after market move just yet....will i be able to use the pa11 nis even with that cd error?? i dont care to play a cd anyway. Will i be able to pull that off since i hear that it uses the cd changer controls? anyone??

 

Are you getting your 2004 head unit free?

If not, for the price of the 04 head unit you can get yourself an aftermarket head and DD conversion. Do the speakers and amp later.

 

$150 for the 2004 head unit with the sat button.
