Hey I have an 04 6mt coupe, so my system is as follows 500/1 4080's driver side box with a JL 10w6d4v2, I also have the pioneer avh-6800 & i-pod hook up with the JDM double din dash kit. I have noticed that the little black thing behind the radio rattles and its is absolutely killing me!!! How do i fix that thing? The pioneer avh-6800 the sound quality is bad... its supposed to have the same sq features as the z-1 just different features... like 6 disk dvd changer and no built in hard drive and no nav (the reason i opted for the 6800 was because i don't need the hard drive heard it rips songs at low quality skips and when it crashes it a b*tch to replace bc cars are subject to temp changes, and nav... well i just don't need it). Is there anything i could do to make it fit a little more flush? i know that the 03-04's aren't going to be as perfect as the 05's and up. I think i want interior speakers, any suggestions? I want a good setup. No real budget, but i do not really want to go too crazy, If i had to put a budget to it I'd say about.... $1000.

 

Is the deck sticking out from the dash or sitting in too much. You can redrill the holes in the bracket to adjust the depth of the deck.

I don't know what you're talking about rattling behind the deck, but alot of times I use weather striping foam tape to pad things and keep them from rattling.

did you change your speakers? the stocks are really crappy. Just changing the deck won't make them sound good, it'll get a little better but you should still swap out the speakers to take advantage of the new deck.

 

The deck is'nt sticking out too much. The black plastic you put behind the radio rattles. I'll try to get some pix up soon. Any suggestions on speakers and amp combo?
