Is the M40 even worth it or is it an overkill? Where would it be mounted in the rear? I doubt there's a problem for the front correct..?..

I think the only way would be if you have the Kenstyle Rear cause of the opening.

two in the front is fine for the G35. for the rear it is hard. only place I can think of is at the license plate. the M40 is more for large trucks/suvs, 4 in the front.

thanks AFitchTLS I was just about to do that. Anyone interested please add you name to the list. I'll start collecting payments later, no sense in you handing over money until we get a little closer, all funds should be deposited by the end of March 15. If you'd like you can paypal at any time, so we can get a better idea of what kind of pricing you're looking at. If you do make a payment, just make it $300 or $510 respectively and I'll refund the difference as the count goes up.

Are laser jammers and radar jammers legal?

Laser jammers are controlled by the FDA for eye safety. Yes that is true, not the Federal Communications Commision or Department of Transportation. Radar jammers are controlled by the FCC.

There are only 6 states that ban radar jammer operation: California, Nebraska, Utah, Oklahoma, Minnesota & Virginia.

Laser jammer operation is banned in three states: California, Utah, Nebraska & Oklahoma.

edit--- this was a copy and paste (especially the part about laser jammers being banned in 3 states and then listing 4) lol
Radar jammers are unlawful under FCC regulations.

True but this is not a radar jammer, it's a laser jammer which is not regulated by the FCC. lasers follow under the FDA (go figure) and there is no nation wide ban on them.

incase you're wondering or have doubts if I can get these. Here's a pic of a delivery I just got today 12 units total.

I also tried to include the IS300.net and my350z.com guys but the forum ****'s over there shut it down. no group buys from non vendors. I really don't understand why, because I don't pay for advertisements on their page? This should really be a community thing where people with the same interests can exchange ideas and if there's a good product at a good price out there why can't we share that with others??? It's a win win for every one.

Best forum page for unbiased info. http://www.guysoflidar.com They are doing this years test the second week of March. I personally decided to go with a laser diode type jammer versus the LED type in the blinder. Laser diodes are much stronger than LEDs and get jam to gun (JTG) performance much more often. A good forum for these products is www.radardetector.net . You can also search www.youtube.com for demonstrations of the diode jamers. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=lpp+laser The one I have is called Laser Pro Park or LPP for short. The other diode jammer is Antilaser or AL8 as its called. The videos on you tube done by mouse show the jam to gun performance of the diode jammers, very impressive! I purchased my LPP from www.kmph.co.uk , it is much more expensive than the Blinder systems, but the performance is superior. Blinder will give you a few seconds to slow down when shot at a distance, but its not full JTG performance. I threw this info out just so others may know about the latest technology out there and make an informed purchase. Blinder is a good product and does its job well and the price is much easier to absorb.

I put my LPP in less than three weeks ago and was already saved once onthe surface streets just driving along talking to a coworker. It went off, I looked at the speed-o, doing 40ish slowed down, LPP still going off becuase the cop cant get a reading, passed the cop and the LPP cycled off, cop looked puzzled and was looking at the control panel of his laser gun. Posted speed limit was 30mph. First shot at about 500', LPP does work well!

Light Emitting DIODE

They are BOTH the same.

Ahhhhh, back at ya my man. AFAIK A basic LED is different than a Laser Diode. Do the blinders LED's emit actual 904nm laser pulse or are they just filtered for 904nm. Laser diodes emit actual 904nm pulses. This is why the Blinder needs 4 heads to get the same performance as the LPP single head.

Semantically yes a laser is light, uhhhh, aren't you smart

So, are you saying that the "Diode" type emit a laser light in a fan pattern? Not o consentrated beam?

Yes, the width of the beam increases the further it travels for both the cops laser gun and the laser diodes in the LPP.

Here is a link to a calculator. http://www.radardetector.net/viewtopic.php?t=747
