JL 300/4 and JL 1000/1 question

I have a few quick questions for anyone that is runnig this setup or simialr. I already have a setup with a hi/lo converter and subs and an amp. I am going to be putting a four channel amp in and replacing my door speakers and deck speakers with a component and co-ax set. I still have the stock head unit. My question is for those of you that are running a mono amp for subs and a four channel for mids and tweeters is how did you connect your second amp? Did you use your stock Bose amp and a line converter and if so which one? I've searched the Audio/Video forums for this answer for three days and have not found anything to answer this question so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
