flexibledock for ipod - anyone used?

wondering if anyone uses one of these, and mostly if it will work with the recessed lighter placement in the sedans.

I used it before for my iPod Mini with AUX in, mounted it on the driver side outlet, and contoured it to follow the AC vents. Was okay except it knocks against the dash under the Mini's weight, also didn't like the fact the iPod is out in the open for all to see.

Good to know - since my full size ipod will be heavier even. Not too worried about it being out since I always carry it with me. Have to look into other options like the proclip I guess. Thanks!

I have it for my 05 coupe 6MT. Clarity is really good if you can find a blank station. My mount is nice and stiff but I have to put it in th moveable ashtray which moves back and forth under shifting and braking. Unless you are going to use it in different cars I would go with USA SPEC for $50 more. Overall I am really happy with this mount.

I think you're talking about a different one. This has a line out to use with the tape deck, it does not use the FM station. And with the shap of the plug I don't think there is any way it would work in the ashtray.
