My AV install

Ok all I got the AVElectronics piece, the double DIN dash, and everything I need. Waht is going in is this, and work has already begun on it:

Alpine CDA-7998
Alpine XM
Diamond 6 1/2" Midbass and tweets(S600) all in sotck locations (6x9 modified to fit 6 1/2", rear end is all midbass)
2 JL 10w7 in a sealed custom enclosure
JL 450/4 pushing midbass and tweet
JL 1000/1 pushing the subs
Stinger 24v 1 Farad cap, and Stinger 800 Amp battery (in addition to stock battery) with relay for isolation purposes
Alpine CD and DVD changers (1 each)

The blank space was molded to give me a video input just below the power point on the passenger side, and a 120v outled wsa put in with the inverter stashed behind the glovebox, the outlet is just below the glovebox. All the large buttons were ditched or the AVelctronics box, and the tech made the device swith over automatically via the power button.

I can post pics if wanted, just met me know...but what do you all think of the hardware?

Re: My AV install

The hardware sounds pretty sweet although I would go with MB Quart speaker myself. But enough said, pictures pictures and more pictures.

Re: My AV install

LOL MB quarts over diamond components? yikes... diamonds are awesome.... but you're gonna screw up your imaging with putting speakers in the rear, unless you don't care about that sort of stuff...

nice equipment... post pics when done..

Re: My AV install

I agree with narkotic....i prefer Diamond Audio over MB Quart...soon ill be getting the Clarion DVD HU with touch screen, 6.5" Diamond components in front, 6.5" coaxials in rear, Diamond 6"x9" coaxials in rear deck, 2-10" Diamond M6 subs (those S**T's pound!!), 1 Diamond 600.4 (highs), 1 Diamond 1600.1 (bass), custom box ported through the rear deck where the third brake light is at, 1 VooDoo super cap and an Optima yellow top baterry, Clifford paging alarm with remote start and all the bells and whistles......and soon after that the Pioneer DVD NAV.
