Grubbs double din conversion kit

has anybody bought the kit from grubbs? and if so, how is the fit? any gaps? and if i install an aftermarket head unit do i need to buy a A/C controller? any help would be great. thanx.

many people have bought it. it fits and looks like stock. yes, you need the a/c controller, but you will lose the dual button unless you modify it. search double din and you'll see a bunch of installs people have done.

i recently purchased a double din conversion kit from grubbs and yes everything is perfect fit.......i was actually lucky since i was in dallas at the time and grubbs is located in Euless, Texas which is 30min away i picked mine up like last week. They still have them in stock so grab one while you can or else you'll be waiting for a while.

It's a the same Nissan part that others sell. It fits fine.

The kit from Grubbs is a factory kit from Nissan / Infiniti, its not aftermarket. Fit / finnish will be great.

The AC controller that you will have to order is not available with the DUAL button mounted on it. But, the circuit is there. You'll need to do a quick mod which will involve removing the button from your AC/Radio unit and installing it on the new AC controller.

i was surprised to see it was in a nissan box!
i know now its from nissan

Dual climate....lol. That gets used as much as my trunk lockout switch, first aid kit, spare tire, card holder and rear ashtray.

If I buy that ebay listing will i still need the bracket or does it come with the head unit?
