how sensitive is our alarm?(factory)

Everytime you add a sensor you greatly increase the chance of a false alarm. Motion sensors are notoriously bad for this, and I've never actually seen a car that had a motion sensor installed on the assembly line. Was the motion sensor a dealer add on?
my '97 bmw 528i came and all other e39 5 series came with oem factory motion sensors, was right behind sunroof on the headliner. on earlier model years they were easily triggered by microwaves and such, so i always found myself holding the lock button to shut off the sensor anyway when i armed the alarm.

Does it have decent instructions on what you have to do or can you write something up for people here? I would love to install something like this on my car. The second night I brought my car home, some focker threw a trash bag full of crap on the hood of my car. I want them to be scared ****less the next time they try this.

The sensor pkg does have instructions but you can find a detailed install here. LINK Sorry I wouldn't linked it sooner but didn't have the site on hand.

Without the aftermarket shock sensor...no.
