Sub Woofer Install

We all know that the Bose system in the G pretty much sucks. I ordered mine with the standard system (ordered the sun roof etc. as separate options).

I figured I would just install a sub in the trunk. Nothing huge, just one of those cylindrical jobs with a built in amp.

My question is: Has anyone done something similar and what was the best path to run the wires? I want to take apart as little as possible but realize I may have to take off a back seat side panel to tie into one of the rear speakers? Is there anyplace near the rear trunk area when I can get some power for the amp?

Thanks!
