Event Data Recorder

Couple of questions about the event data recorder that I hope my fellow Infiniti affectionados will be able to help with:

Relative to performance driving (track days / driver training...)

What data is stored (i.e. # redlines, # abs interventions, # times speed above X...).
What data is soft coded
What data is hard coded
What is data is stored for a limited amount of timing
What amount of time is it stored for

Other issues of interest?

And to digress for a moment, is it not a thing of beauty that an AWD four door sedan has the performance of super cars just a couple years back. Simply beautiful car.

Cheers, Dan

If I remember correctly the parameters moments before an accident is detected are stored. I don't think Infiniti (or anyone else for that matter) has made much of this information public. Infiniti's policy is that they own the data and it will be turned over to law enforcement agencys upon request.

I would also guess that it keeps a running log of time above a certain RPM or something along those lines, as well as top speed, etc.
