I am interested in a 2 way Alarm for my precious. I Dont want to spend more than $400 installed. I got a Quote from a local installer for a Prestige SP597 installed for $415. This setup includes two remotes, shock sensors, window open/close function and it works with the factory alarm. I wont need the factory remote anymore all functions will be controlled by new device. For an additional $50 I can get sensors that detect if the car is being lifted and for $129 more I can get Horn sirens. What do u guys think about the product and The price I got? I found out that Prestige is made by Audio Vox.

I have read some G owners have installed shock sensors to their factory alarms, does it work? Can a 2 way pager be added to our factory systems? If these things are possible it should be more practical than a after market alarm, right?
