I just got a USAspec unit and the cable that runs from the USAspec unit to the ipod got damaged during shipping and I would like to replace it with an ipod doc. I have an extra NANO Doc so I would like to just splice the doc cable with the USAspec connection plug. I have never tapped into an Ipod cable or USB cable so Im not sure how its done. I would assume its like splicing anything else but I thought I would ask. And possibly see if anyone else has done this.
